Job Title: Accountant
Location: Lekki, Lagos(Hybrid)
SUMMARY
Our client requires the services of an Accountant to join their team.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Maintain accurate financial records, including ledgers, journals, and account reconciliations.
· Process accounts payable and receivable transactions, ensuring timely payments and collections.
· Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports as required by management.
· Assist in budget preparation and variance analysis to support financial decision-making.
· Ensure compliance with internal policies, tax regulations, and industry standards.
· Reconcile bank statements and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.
· Support the audit process by providing necessary documentation and explanations.
· Handle basic administrative tasks such as filing, record-keeping, and document organization.
REQUIREMENTS:
· Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
· 2 years of experience in accounting or a similar role.
· Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, or equivalent) and MS Office Suite.
· Excellent attention to detail and ability to multitask effectively.
· Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and identify trends.
· Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
· Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
