Job Vacancy: Accountant (Onsite)

Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and maintain accurate financial records, ledgers, and accounts.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports.
- Monitor cash flow, budget planning, and expenditure tracking.
- Handle payroll processing, vendor invoices, tax remittances, and statutory deductions.
- Reconcile bank statements and resolve discrepancies.
- Liaise with auditors, tax authorities, and external financial partners.
- Ensure compliance with local and international accounting standards.
- Advise management on cost-effectiveness, financial trends, and risk.
- Record, classify, and summarize financial transactions in accordance with standard accounting principles.
- File tax returns and ensure compliance with all financial legal requirements (e.g., VAT, PAYE, income tax).
Requirements:
- B.Sc or HND in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Minimum of 2–3 years proven work experience as an accountant.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, or Excel).
- Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
- Solid understanding of financial regulations and best practices.
- Professional certification (e.g., ICAN, ACCA) is an added advantage.
- Integrity, reliability, and professionalism.
- Strong analytical and numerical skills.
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
- Knowledge of Nigerian tax laws and regulatory standards.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
