Job Description
Position: Wealth Manager Advisor (WeMA)
Company: Spurbuddy Holdings
Location: Hybrid (Lagos & Abuja residents only)
Reports to: Head of Investment & Strategy
Summary:
The Wealth Manager will be responsible for overseeing the performance and client relationship management for all investment packages within Spurbuddy Holdings' subsidiaries. This includes managing The Brite Fund , a fixed investment trust for children offered by Earlybrite, and The Legacy Vault , a family investment product offered by The Elite Wanderer. The ideal candidate will be a results-oriented professional with a strong background in wealth management and a passion for providing exceptional client service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Investment Oversight: Actively manage and monitor the performance of The Brite Fund and The Legacy Vault to ensure alignment with stated investment objectives and client goals.
- Client Relationship Management: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, providing regular updates, addressing inquiries, and building long-term, trust-based relationships.
- Strategic Planning: Develop and implement customized wealth management strategies for both individual families and corporate partners, ensuring a clear and transparent investment process.
- Market Analysis: Stay informed on market trends, economic indicators, and regulatory changes to adjust investment strategies and advise clients effectively proactively.
- Reporting & Communication: Prepare detailed performance reports and client presentations. Communicate complex financial information in an easy-to-understand manner.
- Sales & Business Development: Work collaboratively with the business development teams of Earlybrite and The Elite Wanderer to identify new opportunities and support the acquisition of new clients.
Required Qualifications:
A bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field. A Master's degree or professional certification (e.g., CFA, CFP) is a significant advantage.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in wealth management, investment banking, or a similar role, with a proven track record of managing client portfolios.
- Deep understanding of different asset classes and investment vehicles. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with diverse clients.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Work Environment:
This is a hybrid role, requiring the selected candidate to be a resident of either Lagos or Abuja. You will be expected to work from home, with mandatory in-person meetings at designated offices as required for team collaboration, client meetings, and strategic planning sessions.
