*Job Description:*
We're seeking a highly skilled Claims/Underwriting Officer to join our team in the insurance industry. As a Claims/Underwriting Officer, you'll be responsible for efficient claims administration and management, ensuring accurate and timely processing of claims.
*Key Responsibilities:*

• Undertake efficient claims administration and management
• Verify policy details and ensure accurate and timely processing of claims
• Analyze claims and verify whether they are covered by the policy
• Prepare weekly reports on progress of all claims reported to the Insurer
• Communicate with clients to obtain information necessary for processing claims
• Notify concerned underwriters on all valid claims
• Guide policyholders on the process of claims reporting and administration
• Provide details of indemnity to policyholders and clarify disputes on claims amount
• Provide technical support to clients and colleagues on insurance matters
• Placement of various insurance policies as needed

*Requirements:*

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in underwriting and claims management in the insurance industry
• Strong analytical and decision-making skills
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills
• Attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
