Model: Fully On-site (Ikeja)
We are seeking a UI/UX Designer who is skilled in creating intuitive and user-centered digital experiences. The ideal candidate will have a strong sense of visual design, a deep understanding of UX principles, and the ability to translate complex workflows into clean, functional interfaces.
As part of our product team, you will collaborate closely with product managers, developers, and QA engineers to design across various platforms, including our bill payment system, internal tools, and messaging solutions. Your work will directly influence how users experience and interact with our digital products.
Key ResponsibilitiesDesign & Development
- Lead end-to-end UI/UX design for new features and product enhancements across web and mobile platforms.
- Translate user needs and business requirements into thoughtful, functional, and consistent designs.
- Create wireframes, user flows, high-fidelity mockups, and interactive prototypes using tools such as Figma, Adobe XD, or Sketch.
- Ensure design consistency through the use of reusable components, responsive behaviours, and accessibility best practices.
Design Review & Quality Assurance
- Participate in staging and production reviews to ensure alignment between developed products and approved designs.
- Collaborate with the QA team to validate the accuracy and usability of developed features.
- Identify and report UI/UX bugs, inconsistencies, and usability issues.
User Research & Feedback
- Conduct user research and usability testing to validate design assumptions.
- Gather and analyze feedback to improve the overall product experience.
- Promote user-centered design thinking across the organization.
Design System & Documentation
- Contribute to the development and maintenance of our internal design system and component library.
- Document design guidelines, specifications, and interaction patterns to support implementation consistency.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work closely with software engineers to ensure the technical feasibility of your designs.
- Collaborate with product managers to align design work with product goals and release timelines.
- Participate in sprint planning, grooming, and review sessions to represent design priorities.
RequirementsMinimum Qualifications
- 2–4 years of experience in UI/UX design for web and mobile products.
- Proficiency in industry-standard design tools (Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch, InVision, etc.).
- Experience working in Agile environments and using project management tools such as Trello, Zoho Projects, or Jira.
- A strong portfolio demonstrating problem-solving through UX and high-quality visual design.
- Solid understanding of typography, layout, color theory, and visual hierarchy.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain design decisions to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Preferred (Nice-to-Have)
- Familiarity with WCAG accessibility standards.
- Experience with interactive or motion design tools (e.g., Lottie, Framer Motion).
