We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Tailor to join our team. The ideal candidate should be experienced in garment construction, alterations, fittings, and finishing, with a strong eye for detail and commitment to quality. Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities:
- Cut, sew, and construct garments according to measurements and design specifications.
- Perform alterations, repairs, and fittings to ensure perfect garment fit.
- Interpret and work with patterns or sketches to create custom pieces.
- Select and work with a wide range of fabrics and garment styles.
- Operate and maintain sewing machines, overlockers, and other tailoring tools.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
- Meet deadlines and ensure customer satisfaction. Collaborate with designers, fashion teams, or clients as needed.
Requirements:
- Proven tailoring or sewing experience (minimum 1–2 years preferred).
- SSCE or equivalent; fashion design or garment construction training is an advantage.
- Proficiency in sewing by machine and by hand.
- Good knowledge of fabrics, patterns, and measurements.
- Strong attention to detail, precision, and creativity.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively. Good communication and interpersonal skills.
