Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities:
Contracting & Procurement Management
- Manage daily contracting and procurement (C&P) operations.
- Oversee the commercial process for tenders and bids.
- Monitor and evaluate supplier performance, providing regular feedback to the group.
- Process requisitions and generate purchase orders efficiently.
- Ensure compliance with procurement policies, Nigerian Content regulations, and Group SCM standards.
- Process requisitions, generate purchase orders, and oversee contract execution. Provide feedback to Group SCM on supplier performance and market trends.
Strategic Procurement Management
- Identify and source raw materials locally and internationally, ensuring cost-effectiveness and quality.
- Manage supplier relationships (local and offshore) and negotiate contracts. Ensure adherence to due process in tendering and bidding activities.
Warehouse & Materials Management
- Define and implement warehouse & materials management standards across the Group.
- Develop logistics and warehousing processes, including inventory management systems.
- Conduct routine stock checks and audits.
- Monitor the receipt and issuance of all materials.
- Manage the layout and arrangement of items within the stores.
- Expedite the delivery of materials as needed. Provide accurate data and feedback for inventory management systems.
SCM Support across the Group
- Provide dedicated supply chain management support to (SBUs) and (OPCOs), ensuring alignment with Group policies.
- Manage C&P operations specifically within each SBU/OPCO.
- Oversee commercial processes for tenders and bids for SBUs/OPCOs.
- Monitor and provide feedback on the performance of suppliers within these units. Process requisitions and generate purchase orders for SBU/OPCOs.
Logistics Management
- Drive compliance with logistics and journey management standards.
- Coordinate the transportation of project assets, materials, equipment, and personnel to and from sites.
- Ensure compliance with logistics and journey management standards.
- Degree in business administration, Economics, Logistics, or related field.
- A master’s degree or professional certification is a plus. Minimum of seven years in supply chain management, preferably in oil & gas, energy, or marine services.
Requirements:
- Strong knowledge of procurement, warehousing, and logistics.
- Proficiency in inventory management systems (e.g., SAP Oracle).
- Excellent negotiation, vendor management, and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Understanding of Nigerian Content Development (NCD) regulations.
