Position Overview:
We are seeking a creative, results-driven, and strategic Social Media & Content Manager to lead our brand’s online presence, storytelling, and audience engagement. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating, managing, and optimizing content across all digital platforms to strengthen brand visibility, attract new customers, and nurture an engaged online community.
This role blends creativity with analytics , you’ll be crafting high-quality content while tracking performance to ensure measurable growth.
Key Responsibilities:
Content Strategy & Creation
- Develop and execute a monthly content calendar aligned with WakaMi’s marketing and business goals.
- Create compelling content (images, videos, reels, carousels, blog posts) tailored for each platform (Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube, Twitter/X).
- Ensure all content aligns with the brand voice, visual identity, and messaging guidelines.
Social Media Management
- Manage daily posting, engagement, and moderation across all social media channels.
- Monitor trends, conversations, and competitors to inform content strategy.
- Use storytelling to humanize the brand and connect with target audiences.
Community Engagement & Growth
- Build, grow, and manage online communities, responding promptly to comments, messages, and brand mentions.
- Collaborate with influencers, creators, and brand advocates to expand reach.
- Initiate interactive campaigns, polls, and challenges to drive engagement.
Analytics & Reporting
- Track and analyze performance metrics to measure content effectiveness.
- Prepare monthly reports with actionable insights and recommendations.
- Optimize campaigns based on engagement, reach, conversion, and retention data.
Collaboration & Brand Support
- Work closely with the Digital Marketing & Growth Specialist to align content with paid campaigns and SEO goals.
- Partner with the design and operations team to create high-quality visuals and videos. Support offline marketing events with digital coverage.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Proven experience (3+ years) in social media management and content creation.
- Strong portfolio of creative work across multiple platforms.
- Proficiency in social media tools (Meta Business Suite, Buffer, Hootsuite, Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, CapCut, etc.).
- Excellent copywriting, storytelling, and visual communication skills.
- Strong understanding of analytics tools (Meta Insights, Google Analytics, etc.).
- Creative thinker with the ability to adapt quickly to trends. Self-motivated with excellent time management and organizational skills.
