Job Summary
As a Site Engineer, you will be expected to supervise daily on-site activities and ensure compliance with technical specifications, quality standards, and safety protocols. The role involves coordinating with project teams, interpreting engineering drawings, managing resources, and resolving site challenges to support timely and cost-effective project delivery. The ideal candidate will bring strong proficiency in quality control, reporting, and the use of software tools such as AutoCAD and MS Project, with a solid understanding of infrastructure standards and stakeholder collaboration.
Responsibilities
- Supervise daily construction activities to ensure adherence to design specifications, quality benchmarks, and safety requirements.
- Interpret engineering drawings and technical documents to guide construction processes.
- Manage on-site resources, including labor, materials, and equipment, to maximize efficiency and minimize waste.
- Coordinate with project managers, subcontractors, and consultants to resolve technical and operational challenges.
- Implement and enforce quality control procedures, conducting inspections and ensuring corrective actions where necessary.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly site progress reports for submission to management.
- Monitor construction schedules and ensure project milestones are achieved within deadlines.
- Ensure compliance with infrastructure and industry standards, as well as health and safety regulations.
- Utilize project management and engineering software (AutoCAD, MS Project) to support planning, monitoring, and reporting activities.
- Foster effective communication with stakeholders to address project-related issues and ensure smooth execution.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Engineering, or a related field.
- 8–10 years of professional experience in site engineering, preferably in infrastructure projects.
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, quality assurance, and health and safety standards.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Project, and other relevant engineering software.
- Demonstrated skills in resource management, site supervision, and project reporting.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to resolve on-site challenges effectively.
- Ability to work under pressure, handle multiple priorities, and deliver results within tight deadlines.

Pay: ₦300,000.00 - ₦400,000.00 per month
