Job Description/Requirements
Required Qualifications and Project Experience:
- A Master’s degree (MSc) in transport planning, business development, or a related discipline from an internationally recognized university.
- Minimum of 15 years of professional experience in the development and management of operations for large public transport utilities.
- At least two major projects involving the design and/or operational management of high-capacity (>5,000 passengers per hour per direction) mass transit systems, such as inland water transport (IWT), metro/tram/monorail, or bus rapid transit (BRT).
- Demonstrated experience in projects funded by international financial institutions (IFIs) in developing countries.
- Proven expertise in project management.
Key Tasks:
- Assume overall and full responsibility for ensuring that all PMOD deliverables for the OMI EKO project are completed with quality, on schedule, and within budget.
- Lead and manage the PMOD project team.
- Serve as the primary liaison with LASWA, AFD, co-financiers, and the EPCS Consultant.
- Coordinate and manage all relevant stakeholders.
- Prepare and submit progress reports to LASWA, AFD, and other relevant parties as required.
- Supervise institutional strengthening and capacity-building initiatives for LASWA staff.
