The Gas Projects Senior Project Engineer will be responsible for the delivery of the modifications and upgrade required for the conversion of an identified drilling rig or to a MOPU or the design / construction of a new MOPU consistent with the scope requirements of the Integrated Gas Monetization Project.
The current concept comprises the procurement, conversion and installation of a MOPU to process and export ca 500 MMscfd of gas conditioned to supply a Floating LNG (FLNG) unit. The Senior Project Engineer will be responsible under the oversight of the Project Lead for Gas Projects for delivering these elements of the project on schedule and within agreed budget from the pre-FEED stage through FEED, detailed engineering, installation and commissioning.
Requirements
- A good university degree in relevant engineering discipline.
- Minimum 12 - 15 years related experience leading to senior roles in oil and gas facilities engineering of which at least 5 years in supervision and project management level.
- Proven experience in the management of major engineering and procurement projects.
- Must have strong knowledge of offshore projects and specifically vessel conversion projects.
- Competent knowledge and experience in contract strategy development and major EPC contract implementation and execution.
- Knowledge of the marketplace and its impact on project execution strategies.
- Construction/Installation experience would be beneficial.
- Experience in development execution of projects exceeding $100M.
