We are seeking a highly analytical and strategic Senior Investment Analyst to join our corporate finance team reporting directly to the Group Corporate Finance & Strategy Director (GFD). This role is responsible for evaluating and supporting investment decisions, conducting financial modelling, and providing actionable insights to drive the company’s long-term growth and value creation initiatives. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in finance, excellent analytical skills, and a deep understanding of capital markets and corporate strategy.

THE JOB

• Conduct in-depth financial analysis and modelling to evaluate investment opportunities, mergers & acquisitions (M&A), divestitures, and other strategic initiatives.

• Perform market research and competitive analysis to assess industry trends, valuation benchmarks, and potential risks

• Support the preparation of investment memos, presentations, and recommendations for senior leadership and the investment committee.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., legal, operations, business development) to assess business cases and execute transactions.

• Monitor and report on the performance of existing investments and recommend portfolio optimization strategies.

• Stay abreast of macroeconomic trends, industry developments, and financial markets to inform investment strategies.
  

THE PERSON MUST

• Have excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

• Have advanced financial modelling and valuation skills, with strong proficiency in Excel and financial analysis tools.

• Be experienced in supporting M&A, divestitures, and other strategic transactions from assessment to execution.
  

QUALIFICATIONS

• B.Sc. or HND

Ideally CFA ceritified

EXPERIENCE

• Minimum of 5–8 years of relevant experience in corporate finance, investment banking, private equity, asset management, or a similar environment.
