Job Title: Senior Java Developer f

Job Type: Contract (Remote)

Location: Nigeria

Budget: $40/hour

We are seeking an experienced and highly professional Senior Java Developer to join our AI-driven project team. This is a remote opportunity open exclusively to candidates based in Nigeria The ideal candidate will possess a strong technical background with extensive hands-on experience in Java and Spring Boot, as well as proficiency in Python, frontend technologies, and cloud platforms (Azure/AWS).

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain scalable backend services using Java and Spring Boot
• Collaborate with data scientists and AI engineers to integrate AI/ML models into applications
• Design and build RESTful APIs and microservices
• Assist in frontend development and UI integration
• Deploy and manage cloud infrastructure (Azure or AWS)
• Participate in code reviews, testing, and optimization for performance and scalability
Communicate effectively with remote teams and deliver high-quality solutions within timelines

Required Qualifications:

• 5+ years of professional experience in Java and Spring Boot
• 5+ years of hands-on experience in Python
• 3+ years of experience in frontend development (React, Angular, or similar)
• 3+ years of experience working with Azure and/or AWS
• Proven ability to work independently in a remote setup
• Strong understanding of microservices architecture, CI/CD, and containerization
• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills
• Demonstrated professionalism , accountability, and time management
  

Preferred Attributes:

• Previous experience in AI/ML projects
• Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools
Ability to contribute to technical documentation and agile ceremonies
