Role Overview

This is a rare opportunity for a highly qualified Chartered Accountant to take on a strategic leadership position, supporting the CFO in steering Montaigne’s financial health and strategic direction. The Senior Accountant will lead critical financial operations, ensuring integrity, compliance, and insight-driven decision-making across the business.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as Deputy CFO, providing robust financial leadership and acting as a trusted business partner across departments
• Oversee the preparation and accuracy of financial statements, budgets, and forecasts aligned with Montaigne’s strategic goals
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, regulatory requirements, and internal control frameworks
• Lead financial planning, analysis, risk management, and reporting initiatives to inform executive decisions
• Manage liaison with external regulators
• Mentor and develop the finance team, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement
Contribute to corporate strategy, capital management, and long-term financial planning

What We’re Looking For

• Fully qualified Chartered Accountant with a minimum of 3 years’ senior finance experience
• Proven ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment
• Expertise in IFRS and strong technical accounting acumen
• Strategic mindset with excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
Demonstrated experience supporting C-suite executives and driving business performance through financial insight

Compensation

Competitive salary ranging from ₦700,000 to ₦850,000 monthly gross, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
