Job Vacancy: Chartered Accountant (Remote – Retail & Dredging Industry Experience Required)

We are currently seeking a highly experienced Chartered Accountant to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will bring a solid understanding of the retail and dredging industries, and demonstrate strong financial acumen, analytical skills, and integrity.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and analyze financial statements and reports
- Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and cost control
- Ensure compliance with tax regulations and internal controls
- Manage audits and liaise with regulatory authorities
- Provide strategic financial guidance to support business growth
- Support procurement and operational decisions with financial insights
Requirements:
- ICAN certified (Membership with ICAN is a must)
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as an accountant
- Experience in the retail and/or dredging industry is a major advantage
- Strong knowledge of Nigerian tax laws, IFRS, and financial reporting
- Proficient with accounting software and remote collaboration tools
- Excellent communication, analytical, and organizational skills
Preferred:
- Prior experience working remotely or managing virtual finance teams
- Knowledge of inventory and project-based accounting
