Role: Project Execution Manager
Full-time, Hybrid
Location: Lekki
Salary: #600,000 gross plus other benefits
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Plan, manage, and execute multiple interior design projects from post-design handoff to final
delivery
2. Oversee site operations including coordination of vendors, contractors, and consultants
3. Maintain project timelines, budgets, and resource plans with regular updates to stakeholders
4. Ensure quality control standards are met at all stages of execution
5. Conduct periodic site inspections and proactively coordinate issue resolution measures.
6. Serve as the primary point of contact for clients during project execution.
7. Collaborate closely with the design and procurement teams for seamless implementation
8. Manage documentation including contracts, schedules, and reports
9. Mitigate risks and troubleshoot problems to ensure timely project completion
10. Review and assess project designs for cost efficiency and value engineering opportunities.
11. Coordinate tendering processes, bid evaluations and submissions, and contractor negotiations.
Collaboration & Communication:
1. Liaise with designers, quantity surveyors, contractors, and consultants to support project delivery.
2. Coordinate project meetings and track progress against milestones.
3. Ensure alignment between design intent, financial control and execution.
4. Provide mentorship and guidance to junior project team members.
Reporting & Compliance:
1. Provide risk assessments and mitigations strategies.
2. Ensure compliance with contractual, legal, and regulatory standards.
3. Support sustainability and cost-conscious design decisions.
Experience & Qualifications:
1. Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management or execution within the interior design,
fit-out, or high-end construction sector.
2. Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Building Technology, Architecture, or related discipline.
3. COREN, NSE or NIOB full membership is mandatory.
4. PMP certification (from PMI) is highly preferred.
5. Proven ability to manage projects valued above NGN 1 billion is mandatory.
Skills & Attributes:
1. Strong understanding of interior design processes, fit-out methodologies, and FF&E.
2. Strong knowledge of materials, construction processes, vendor management, and execution
logistics
3. Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
4. Strong leadership and team coordination skills
5. A sharp eye for detail and a passion for high-quality design implementation
6. Excellent negotiation, analytical, and cost forecasting skills.
7. Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple concurrent projects.
8. Strong communication and interpersonal skills for client and contractor engagement.
9. Proficiency in cost management software (e.g., MS Project, MS Excel).
10. Proficiency with Google Suite and adaptable to virtual workspace collaborative tools.
