Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Production Supervisor to oversee daily operations in our garment production unit. The ideal candidate will ensure that all production activities are carried out efficiently, meet quality standards, and are completed on time. You will be responsible for coordinating workflow, managing staff, and maintaining production schedules while ensuring compliance with safety and quality regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate daily production activities in the cutting, sewing, finishing, and packing departments.
- Ensure production targets and deadlines are met without compromising quality standards.
- Monitor workflow, identify production issues, and implement timely solutions.
- Work closely with the design, quality control, and inventory teams to streamline operations.
- Maintain accurate production records, including output, attendance, and incidents.
- Ensure health and safety standards are adhered to on the production floor.
- Implement continuous improvement initiatives to increase productivity and reduce waste.
- Manage and report on inventory usage and fabric/material consumption.
Requirements:
- Proven experience (2+ years) as a Production Supervisor or similar role in the fashion or garment industry.
- Strong understanding of garment manufacturing processes, quality control, and production planning.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficient in production management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Proactive problem-solver with a hands-on approach.
- Knowledge of lean manufacturing or Six Sigma methodologies is a plus.
