Key Responsibilities
1. Vendor Sourcing Management
* Identify, evaluate, and onboard reliable vendors for food, beverages, and restaurant supplies.
* Negotiate competitive prices, quantities, and delivery terms to optimise costs.
* Monitor vendor performance, ensuring ≥90% compliance with quality and delivery standards.
2. Procurement & Contract Management
* Process purchase requisitions and orders accurately and promptly.
* Track and renew supply agreements to maintain uninterrupted operations.
* Stay informed on market trends, price fluctuations, and product availability.
3. Demand Forecasting & Collaboration
* Work closely with the Head Chef, inventory officer and Store Keeper to forecast inventory needs.
* Prevent stock-outs and overstocking by aligning procurement with kitchen demand.
* Coordinate with the Finance Team to ensure purchases stay within budget.
4. Performance & Cost Optimisation
* Achieve ≤5% variance from market-average purchase prices through effective negotiation.
* Track monthly cost savings from vendor negotiations and process improvements.
* Conduct quarterly vendor performance reviews to ensure reliability and quality.
