Job Summary
We are looking for an energetic and committed PHE Teacher with at least 3 years of proven teaching experience to join our school community. The ideal candidate must be TRCN certified, passionate about physical fitness, sports, and health education, and able to promote an active lifestyle among students. Skills in organizing sports programs and integrating technology into physical education will be an added advantage.
Key Responsibilities
Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons in Physical and Health Education according to the school curriculum.
Teach health-related topics including personal hygiene, nutrition, safety, and first aid.
Organize and supervise sports activities, inter-house competitions, and fitness programs.
Develop students’ physical skills, teamwork, and sportsmanship through structured activities.
Ensure safety and proper use of sports equipment and facilities.
Assess and monitor students’ performance in both theoretical and practical components.
Encourage participation in extracurricular sports and represent the school in competitions.
Integrate technology such as fitness apps, sports analysis tools, and digital resources into lessons.
Collaborate with colleagues on health awareness campaigns and whole-school wellness programs.
Qualifications and Requirements
Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in Physical and Health Education, Human Kinetics, or a related field.
TRCN certification is mandatory.
At least 3 years of teaching experience in a school setting.
Strong knowledge of sports, fitness training, and health education curriculum.
Coaching certifications or experience in specific sports is an added advantage.
Good organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
