Driver & Transport Services

Responsibilities:

• Transportation Services: Safely and responsibly operate the employer's vehicle to provide transportation to and from various destinations in Lagos, including residences, offices, appointments, and events.
• Route Planning: Plan and select the most efficient and timely routes to ensure on-time arrival at destinations while considering traffic conditions, road closures, and construction zones.
• Safety and Compliance: Adhere to all traffic laws, regulations, and safety standards while driving. Maintain a clean driving record and ensure the vehicle is well-maintained, regularly serviced, and in good working condition.
• Security Awareness: Maintain a vigilant attitude towards security risks and take necessary precautions to safeguard the employer, passengers, and vehicle from potential threats or incidents.
• Professionalism and Discretion: Demonstrate professionalism, courtesy, and discretion at all times, maintaining confidentiality and respecting the employer's privacy and confidentiality.
• Assistance and Support: Provide assistance and support to the employer and passengers as needed, such as carrying luggage, running errands, and coordinating schedules.
• Communication: Maintain clear and open communication with the employer regarding schedules, itinerary changes, and any relevant updates or issues related to transportation.
• Vehicle Maintenance: Ensure the cleanliness and upkeep of the employer's vehicle, including regular cleaning, refueling, and minor maintenance tasks. Coordinate with the employer or designated personnel for major repairs or servicing needs.
• Emergency Response: Be prepared to handle emergency situations calmly and efficiently, including accidents, breakdowns, or medical emergencies, while prioritizing the safety and well-being of all parties involved.
  

Requirements:

• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Proven experience as a personal or executive driver in Lagos, Nigeria, with a thorough knowledge of the city's streets, neighborhoods, and traffic patterns.
• Excellent driving skills and a strong commitment to safety and professionalism.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact respectfully with employers, passengers, and other stakeholders.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion in handling sensitive information.
• Punctuality, reliability, and flexibility to accommodate changing schedules and last-minute requests.
• Knowledge of basic vehicle maintenance and troubleshooting.
• Familiarity with GPS navigation systems and mobile communication devices.
• High school diploma or equivalent qualification.
• License/Certification:
• Driver's license (Preferred)
Must live on/close to the Island
