SKILLS AND REQUIREMENT
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related subject.
- 3-5 years of experience as a Back-End Engineer.
- Strong understanding of OOP concepts and design patterns.
- In-depth understanding of software development life-cycle.
- 3-5 years of experience with programming languages and tools like Node.Js, Typescript, NestJs, Drizzle ORM, Zod (Type Validation), Postman Documentation, BitBucket, DevOps on AWS, etc.
- Good understanding with Git, Jira, and Agile methodologies.
- Critical thinking and problem-solving skills. Great interpersonal and communication skills.

Role Description
This is a full-time hybrid role for a NestJS Backend Engineer located in Lagos, with some work-from-home flexibility. The Backend Engineer will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining backend components using NestJS framework. Daily tasks include writing clean and efficient code, performing debugging and troubleshooting, and collaborating with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic. The candidate will also be expected to participate in code reviews and continuously improve the codebase.

Qualifications
- Back-End Web Development and Software Development skills
- Proficiency in Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) and Programming languages
- Experience in Front-End Development (a plus)
- Strong problem-solving and debugging skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and within a team
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field Experience with NestJS framework and TypeScript is advantageous
