The Music Teacher is responsible for planning, delivering, and assessing engaging music lessons that inspire students to appreciate, understand, and perform music. The role involves developing students’ musical skills, creativity, and knowledge of theory, history, and performance, while fostering a love for music in alignment with the school’s educational goals and values.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement a structured music curriculum for different grade levels.
- Teach music theory, history, vocal training, and instrumental skills.
- Prepare students for performances, recitals, and school events.
- Integrate music into cross-curricular activities where appropriate.
- Assess and track student progress, providing constructive feedback.
- Maintain classroom instruments and equipment in good condition.
- Create a positive, inclusive, and motivating learning environment.
- Participate in staff meetings, professional development, and school programs.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Music Education or related field (or equivalent certification).
- Proficiency in at least one musical instrument and strong vocal ability.
- Experience in teaching music to children of varying abilities.
- Strong classroom management and communication skills.
- Creativity, patience, and passion for music education.

Pay: ₦50,000.00 - ₦70,000.00 per month
Expected hours: No more than 5 per week
