Role Summary
Alpha Global seeks a skilled Mobile App Developer experienced in building high-quality, performant, and secure applications for iOS and Android platforms. The role requires expertise in native development and/or cross-platform frameworks with at least 5 years of professional experience. You will collaborate with design and backend teams to deliver seamless user experiences in a fully remote setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, test, and deploy mobile applications on iOS and Android platforms using Swift, Kotlin, React Native, or Flutter.
- Collaborate with UI/UX designers to implement user-friendly and responsive app interfaces.
- Integrate mobile apps with backend services and APIs securely and efficiently.
- Ensure mobile apps adhere to security best practices, including data encryption and secure API consumption.
- Manage app lifecycle including builds, releases, and updates via app stores.
- Optimize app performance and troubleshoot production issues.
- Implement automated testing and continuous integration workflows for mobile development.
- Stay updated on emerging mobile development technologies and best practices.
Required Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
- Minimum 5 years of professional experience in mobile app development.
- Demonstrated experience with both native and cross-platform mobile frameworks.
Certifications (Preferred)
- Google Associate Android Developer
- Apple Certified iOS Developer
- Certifications in React Native or Flutter development are a plus.
Technical Skills
- Languages: Swift (iOS), Kotlin (Android), JavaScript/TypeScript (React Native), Dart (Flutter)
- Frameworks: React Native, Flutter, Xamarin (optional)
- Tools: Xcode, Android Studio, Firebase, RESTful APIs
- Version Control: Git, GitHub, GitLab • CI/CD: Jenkins, CircleCI, Fastlane
- Testing: XCTest, Espresso, Detox
Good-to-Have Skills
- Experience with push notification systems and analytics integration
- Familiarity with mobile app accessibility and SEO best practices
- Knowledge of mobile payment integrations and in-app purchases
