As we expand our presence in Northern Nigeria, we’re looking for a motivated Marketing Coordinator to lead on-ground marketing efforts in Kano and nearby regions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Execute regional marketing campaigns tailored to local markets in Kano and northern Nigeria.
- Coordinate and manage field activations, product launches, and promotional events.
- Support digital marketing initiatives, including social media content, WhatsApp engagement, and influencer outreach.
- Assist with the creation and localization of marketing materials in English and Hausa.
- Track and analyze the performance of marketing efforts using digital tools and field feedback.
- Collaborate with sales and customer support teams to align messaging and improve user acquisition.
- Develop and maintain relationships with local vendors, partners, and community leaders.
- Conduct market research to gather insights on user behavior, competition, and opportunities.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, or a related field.
- 1–3 years of marketing or community engagement experience, ideally in fintech or tech-driven sectors.
- Strong understanding of the Kano market and broader northern region.
- Excellent communication skills in English; proficiency in Hausa is a strong plus.
- Knowledge of digital tools like Canva, Google Workspace, Meta Business Suite, etc.
- Proactive, creative, and highly organized with the ability to manage multiple projects.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working in fintech, mobile banking, or fast-growth startups.
- Familiarity with grassroots marketing or community outreach.
- Data-driven approach to campaign planning and evaluation.
