Job Description/Requirements
We are seeking a highly skilled Marketing Automation & CRM Manager to own and optimize all aspects of our marketing automation and CRM operations. This role requires deep expertise in ActiveCampaign (or comparable platforms such as HubSpot, Klaviyo, or Marketo) with the ability to design, implement, and manage advanced workflows that drive measurable growth. The ideal candidate will be responsible for building and refining multi-channel campaigns including email, SMS, forms, landing pages, and lead scoring while ensuring seamless integration with our deals pipeline and sales enablement efforts. Candidates with HubSpot or similar platform experience are welcome, but the ability to master ActiveCampaign quickly is a must.
Key Responsibilities
Marketing Automation & Campaign Execution
- Build, manage, and optimize automated workflows across the entire customer lifecycle (lead capture, nurture, conversion, and retention).
- Develop and launch email and SMS marketing campaigns, including segmentation, personalization, and A/B testing.
- Create and optimize ActiveCampaign forms, landing pages, and lead capture mechanisms.
CRM & Sales Enablement
- Manage and enhance the deals pipeline within ActiveCampaign, ensuring sales teams have visibility into lead activity and opportunities.
- Implement lead scoring strategies to prioritize sales outreach and improve conversion rates.
- Maintain data accuracy, segmentation, and hygiene across contacts, pipelines, and reporting dashboards.
Analytics & Optimization
- Track, analyze, and report on campaign performance to drive data-informed decisions.
- Monitor deliverability, engagement rates, and conversion metrics, recommending optimizations.
- Continuously refine workflows to maximize efficiency, customer engagement, and ROI.
Collaboration & Training
- Partner with marketing and sales teams to align automation with overall business goals.
- Provide guidance and training on best practices for campaign creation and CRM usage.
- Stay current with new ActiveCampaign features and industry best practices to ensure cutting-edge execution.
Requirements
- Proven expertise in ActiveCampaign automation and workflow design
- Strong understanding of lead tracking and scoring
- Experience setting up nurture campaigns for event-driven marketing
- Analytical mindset with the ability to optimise campaigns based on performance data
- Detail-oriented with excellent communication skills
- Advanced proficiency in ActiveCampaign (or proven ability to master it quickly).
- Strong understanding of email/SMS marketing compliance, deliverability, and engagement strategies.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret performance data and optimize campaigns.
- Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills.
