Core Responsibilities
Content Creation & Instructional Design
- Design and develop high-impact training materials (e-learning modules, videos, manuals, job aids) using proven instructional design principles.
- Apply storytelling techniques to simplify complex processes and boost knowledge retention.
- Collaborate with media production teams to align scripts, visuals, and multimedia for polished, professional content.
- Ensure all materials are accessible, inclusive, and optimized for diverse learning styles.
LMS Design, Management & Optimization
- Architect and manage our Learning Management System (LMS) structure, taxonomy, and user experience.
- Upload, organize, and maintain content for seamless employee access and navigation.
- Configure automated workflows (enrollments, certifications, reminders) to maximize LMS efficiency.
- Troubleshoot technical issues and serve as the go-to LMS expert for stakeholders.
Quality, Compliance & Continuous Improvement
- Conduct rigorous quality assurance (grammar, clarity, instructional integrity) on all content.
- Partner with SMEs to validate accuracy and ensure alignment with policies, procedures, and industry standards.
- Review and refresh content quarterly to maintain relevance, compliance, and engagement.
- Analyze LMS data and learner feedback to optimize content and user experience.
Data-Driven Impact
- Track and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) including:
- Training material development velocity & cost-per-learner
- Content update frequency and completion rates
- Impact on employee performance (e.g., error reduction, productivity gains)
- Use insights to continuously elevate the quality and effectiveness of our L&D programs.
What You Bring (Must-Haves)
- Proven Experience: 3+ years in L&D content creation (e-learning, videos, manuals) AND hands-on LMS management (e.g., Cornerstone, Docebo, LearnUpon, or similar).
- Technical Mastery: Expertise in LMS configuration, SCORM/xAPI, user experience design, and content migration. Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, Articulate 360, or similar authoring tools.
- Instructional Design Chops: Deep understanding of ADDIE/SAM models, adult learning theory, and accessibility standards (WCAG).
- Collaboration Superpower: Ability to partner with SMEs, leaders, and media teams to translate complex topics into engaging learning.
- Data Mindset: Experience tracking KPIs and using analytics to drive decisions.
