We are looking for a smart, proactive, and highly organized Legal Officer to provide high-level legal and administrative support to our Chairman in a healthcare/medical organization. The ideal candidate will have a strong legal background, and excellent skills in data administration, document management systems, incident management, and legal compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct legal and administrative support to the Chairman.
  • Draft, review, and file legal documents, agreements, and correspondences.
  • Manage and maintain an efficient Document Management System (DMS) to ensure proper documentation and retrieval.
  • Uphold data privacy standards in handling confidential legal and organizational information.
  • Coordinate and manage legal appointments, executive schedules, and internal meetings.
  • Track compliance timelines and ensure timely regulatory and legal submissions.
  • Support in incident management by documenting and escalating legal issues or risks in compliance with internal policies.
  • Maintain and organize legal files and records with precision and confidentiality.
  • Liaise with external legal counsels, regulators, and healthcare compliance bodies when necessary.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in legal administration.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Law (LL.B); BL is an added advantage.
  • Strong understanding of legal processes, healthcare compliance, and administrative duties.
  • Proficiency in document management systems and incident reporting tools.
  • Exceptional organizational and communication skills.
  • High level of discretion, integrity, and professionalism.
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and legal documentation software.
