The Kitchen Assistant provides support to chefs by preparing ingredients, maintaining kitchen cleanliness, and assisting with basic food preparation tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
● Wash, peel, chop, and prepare ingredients as instructed.
● Keep workstations, utensils, and kitchen surfaces clean and sanitized.
● Assist with plating dishes during busy periods.
● Receive and store deliveries properly.
● Dispose of waste and follow recycling procedures.
● Assist chefs with any other kitchen tasks as needed.
Key Requirements:
SSCE or vocational training in food handling.
Basic understanding of kitchen hygiene.
Ability to work quickly and follow instructions.
Physically fit and able to stand for long hours
