Description
- We are seeking a detail-oriented Inventory Officer to manage inventory operations and develop strategies to optimize stock management.
- The ideal candidate will ensure accurate inventory records, enhance operational efficiency, and contribute to the overall success of the business.
Job Responsibilities
- Oversee daily inventory operations, including stock receiving, storage, and distribution.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and conduct regular stock audits to ensure data integrity.
- Develop and implement inventory management strategies to minimize waste and optimize stock levels.
- Collaborate with purchasing and sales teams to forecast inventory needs and manage replenishment.
- Analyze inventory data to identify trends, shortages, and opportunities for improvement.
- Champion initiatives to enhance inventory processes, including the use of technology and best practices.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and organizational policies.
- Prepare regular reports on inventory performance and present findings to management.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Proven experience in inventory management or a related role.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities.
- Proficiency in inventory management software and Microsoft Office applications.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
