Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for an Internal Auditor based in Lagos. The Internal Auditor will be responsible for conducting financial audits, preparing detailed audit reports, analyzing financial data, and ensuring compliance with internal financial policies. Day-to-day tasks include evaluating internal controls, identifying areas of financial risk, and providing recommendations for improvements. The role involves close collaboration with the finance team and effective communication of audit findings to senior management.

Qualifications

• Experience in preparing Audit Reports and conducting Financial Audits
• Strong Analytical Skills, Finance knowledge, and attention to detail
• Excellent Communication skills for reporting audit findings and recommendations
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• Professional certification such as CIA, CPA, or equivalent is a plus
• Proficiency in audit software and Microsoft Office Suite
Experience in a retail company is highly required.
