- Plan and execute risk-based internal audits in line with the annual audit plan.
- Assess the effectiveness and efficiency of internal controls, business processes, and procedures.
- Identify control weaknesses, non-compliance with company policies, and areas for improvement.
- Prepare detailed reports with findings and actionable recommendations.
- Monitor the implementation of agreed audit recommendations.
- Evaluate financial and operational procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory and corporate standards.
- Support external audits by providing required information and documentation.
- Provide insights to enhance financial integrity and business performance.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
- Professional certification in ICAN (Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria) is mandatory.
- Minimum of 2–4 years of internal auditing experience in FMCG, Luxury retail or manufacturing industry.
- Strong knowledge of auditing standards, accounting principles, and regulatory requirements.
- High level of integrity, objectivity, and professionalism.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and report-writing skills.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently.
