Job Description
The Project Officer will play a key role in the planning, execution, and monitoring of various projects within the organization. This position requires effective project management, communication, and coordination skills to ensure that projects are completed successfully and on time.
Expected Outcomes
- Assist in the development of project plans, including timelines, task lists, and resource allocation.
- Ensure all project documentation is uploaded to the drive or as instructed by the Senior project manager.
- Manage and update all payment trackers across all projects.
- Collaborate with senior and regional project managers to ensure effective project execution.
- Coordinate tasks, schedules, and meetings to keep the project on track.
- Break projects into doable actions and set timeframes.
- Update all project files and records for easy access and retrieval.
- Assist in tracking project costs, preparing financial reports, and ensuring cost control.
- Communicate with vendors and suppliers to track deliveries and manage relationships.
- Ensure accuracy with measurements, and materials, preventing errors and producing high-quality work to ensure projects are ready for installation.
- Ensure accuracy, quality, and timely delivery of all purchased pieces.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Regional Project Manager.
Critical competencies
- Bachelor’s degree in any related field.
- 1-3 years of work experience.
- PMP / PRINCE2 certification is a plus.
- Solid organizational skills, including multitasking and time-management
