Oak and Teak Interiors is seeking to hire an Interior Architect / Project Manager to coordinate and oversee the project life cycle of all design projects, ensuring the management of time and resources towards the timely completion of the projects.
Job Overview Minimum Qualification: Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture, Interior Design, civil engineering or a related course of study. Project management certification is an added advantage. Experience Length: A minimum of 3 years solid hands on experience in architecture, interior design, civil engineering, construction. Key Responsibilities

• Assist in creating both quantitative and qualitative goals and objectives for each project.
• Analyze the financial and tangible resources for the project scope, maintaining enough flexibility to revise approaches if resources are low or spread thin.
Determine and coordinate require resources (manpower, equipment and materials) with attention to budgetary limitations.

Job Requirements General Requirements are:

• Strong presentation, written, verbal communication skills.

• Functional Skills and Competencies.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Project and Excel Project Planning are required.
• Knowledge of project management techniques, budgeting and legalities of contracts.
• Must be able to read and interpret design plans, specifications, bill of quantities and other construction documents.
• Ability to inspire collaboration between client and project teams as the single point of contact.
• Ability to multi-task overseeing multiple design projects simultaneously.
• Ability to use written and verbal communication skills to clearly explain design projects and the elements needed to create them.
• Must show analytical thinking, able to analyze data and determine how to incorporate their findings into design projects.
Knowledge of CAD and project management tools like smart sheets, Trello.

Qualifications and Experience requirements are:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture, Interior Design, Civil Engineering or other related discipline. Project management certification is an added advantage.
3-5 years solid hands on experience in interior design/ architecture/ construction or in a similar role.
