Job Description
- We are seeking an experienced and proactive HSE Supervisor to oversee and enforce Health, Safety, and Environmental policies across our operations.
- The ideal candidate will ensure compliance with regulatory standards, promote a strong safety culture, and drive continuous improvement in HSE performance, especially in field and offshore operations.
Responsibilities
- Implement, monitor, and enforce HSE policies, procedures, and regulations across all worksites.
- Conduct regular site inspections, audits, and risk assessments to ensure compliance and identify hazards.
- Lead incident investigations and prepare reports with corrective and preventive actions.
- Develop and deliver HSE induction and training programs for staff and contractors.
- Ensure proper documentation of all HSE activities and compliance with local/international standards.
- Liaise with regulatory bodies, clients, and contractors on HSE matters.
- Promote a positive safety culture through engagement and awareness campaigns.
Requirements
- B.Sc./HND in Environmental Science, Engineering, Occupational Health & Safety, or related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of HSE experience in the oil & gas servicing sector, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
- Professional certifications such as NEBOSH, IOSH, ISPON, or equivalent.
- Strong knowledge of Nigerian and international HSE regulations and standards.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and reporting skills.
- Ability to work effectively in field/offshore environments.
