Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and experienced Head of Special Education Needs (SEN) Unit to lead and manage our Special Needs department. The ideal candidate will have a strong academic background in psychology, special education, or related fields, along with significant hands-on experience in managing special education programs for students with learning disabilities such as autism, ADHD, dyslexia, and hyperactivity.

Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities:
- Lead the planning, development, and execution of SEN programs and interventions
- Supervise and support SEN staff, ensuring effective delivery of individualized learning plans
- Develop and maintain documentation and records aligned with SEN best practices
- Work collaboratively with teachers, parents, and external specialists to support students’ progress
- Assess students' learning needs and adjust strategies accordingly
- Provide training, guidance, and mentoring to staff on inclusive practices
- Ensure compliance with institutional and national regulations regarding special needs education Promote a safe, inclusive, and nurturing environment for all learners
Requirements:
- BSc. / B.Ed Psychology, Special Needs, Learning Disabilities, or a related discipline.
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience managing a Special Needs Unit is necessary
- Minimum of 3-5years cognate experience working in an organized institution/ school
- Practical hands-on experience in Autism, Dyslexia, Hyperactivity, ADHD, and other learning disabilities is required
