Job Description/Requirements
Goal:
Drive enterprise revenue, land strategic partnerships, and build a repeatable growth engine for Wamiri Nigeria.
Responsibilities:
- Own pipeline to revenue: source, qualify, close enterprise and government deals
- Build and lead partnerships with agencies, integrators, data providers, and channel partners
- Craft and execute Nigeria GTM: segmentation, ICPs, messaging, pricing, and motions
- Create exec-ready proposals, ROI models, and demos with product/engineering
- Navigate complex procurement, RFPs, and stakeholder maps; de-risk blockers
- Build and manage a small high-impact growth team; set targets and cadence
- Establish metrics: pipeline, win rate, sales cycle, ARR, partner-sourced revenue
- Lead Wamiri’s presence at key events; design high-impact visibility plays
- Feed market insights back to product for roadmap and localization Structure performance-based contracts and commercial terms
Requirements:
- 7–12 years in enterprise sales/BD or partnerships with track record of closing deals
- Deep networks in Nigerian enterprise/public sector; comfort with complex procurement
- Strong commercial acumen: pricing, negotiation, and P&L impact
- Excellent exec communication; builds trust with C‑suite and senior officials
- Analytical: can build ROI cases and translate product value to outcomes
- Builder mindset: sets up processes, playbooks, and hires A-players Nice to have: govtech, compliance, customs/logistics, or legal-tech exposure
Success in 6–12 Months:
- Close first flagship enterprise/government deals
- Build a qualified pipeline 5x quarterly target
- Sign 3–5 high-leverage partnerships Reduce sales cycle and increase win rate via repeatable playbooks
