Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities
- Lead and oversee the bank’s credit operations, from appraisal to disbursement, monitoring, and recovery.
- Ensure all credit activities comply with CBN regulations and internal policies.
- Develop and maintain a strong compliance framework to protect the bank from regulatory and operational risks.
- Train, mentor, and manage the credit and compliance teams to deliver optimal results.
- Design and implement strategies that improve portfolio quality and profitability. Collaborate with management on initiatives that drive growth across the organization.
Requirements
- Must reside on Lagos Island or nearby.
- 5–7 years’ proven experience in credit and compliance within the Microfinance Banking sector.
- Strong knowledge of MFB credit processes, risk management, and compliance requirements.
- Exceptional leadership, analytical, and decision-making skills.
- Highly flexible and willing to contribute beyond core duties to drive overall business success.
