Job Summary:
Etazuma Mining and Industries Limited (EZM) is seeking a proactive and experienced Facility Manager to oversee the smooth operation, maintenance, and safety of the company buildings and facilities. The successful candidate will ensure all infrastructure and support services are functional, compliant with regulatory standards, and supportive of employee productivity and well-being.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage daily operations of the facility, including maintenance, cleaning, utilities, equipment, and security.
Implement and monitor preventive maintenance schedules for infrastructure and building systems (e.g., HVAC, plumbing, electrical).
Coordinate and supervise contractors, technicians, and vendors to ensure timely, high-quality service delivery.
Ensure strict compliance with health, safety, environmental, and legal regulations.
Plan and oversee repairs, renovations, upgrades, and inspections.
Develop and manage facility budgets, track expenditures, and support cost-saving initiatives.
Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, service contracts, inspections, and incident reports.
Handle emergency facility issues and coordinate swift resolutions.
Collaborate with internal departments (e.g., security, finance, projects) for facility planning and operational alignment.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Facility Management, Engineering, Building Services, or a related field.
Minimum of 3–5 years’ experience in facility or property management.
Strong understanding of building systems and preventive maintenance.
Excellent leadership, organizational, communication, and negotiation skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and facility management software.
Certification in facility management (e.g., IFMA, BIFM) is an added advantage.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and respond effectively to urgent issues.
Salary: ₦500,000 – ₦600,000 Net Monthly
