Your Mission:
Your mission is to transform raw customer insights into scroll-stopping, conversion-focused Meta ads that consistently meet or exceed NC-ROAS and retention goals, before a single dollar is spent on media. You’ll mine the Voice of the Customer (VOC), develop validated creative concepts, and execute an AI-powered ad creation system that keeps fresh creatives flowing and top performers optimized.
Core Responsibilities
1. Master Performance Marketing Theory
- Apply deep DTC growth principles to every campaign (e.g., awareness ladder, market sophistication, identity marketing, offer stacking, urgency triggers, and persuasive frameworks like PAS, 4Ps, ACCA).
- Identify strategic gaps and build “why buy now” messaging that drives results.
2. Audience Insight & Research Loop
- Build a repeatable customer-insight system using sources like:
- Post-purchase surveys, customer service chats, UGC, Reddit threads, TikTok comments, sales transcripts, reviews, Amazon listings, and more.
- Transform data into clear messaging hierarchies, customer avatars, and actionable briefs.
3. High-Volume Ad Concept Development
- Generate 5–10 validated, test-ready ad concepts per brand, per week.
- Each concept includes: hook, core angle, asset list, and success metrics.
4. Compelling Copy & Scripts
- Write thumb-stopping headlines, copy, and scripts that outperform benchmarks in at least 30% of A/B tests.
5. Asset Production Management
- Source, brief, and manage creators/designers to deliver high-performing assets on time, on brand.
- Implement feedback within 48 hours to keep iterations fast and data-informed.
6. AI-Powered Workflow Optimization
- Use LLMs and internal Gen-AI tools to:
- Tag top performers, auto-generate briefs, and reduce concept-to-launch time by at least 25%.
7. Testing, Tracking & Reporting
- Maintain a dynamic 4-week creative testing roadmap. Log hypotheses, insights, and actions in a central performance dashboard (Google Sheets).
Must-Have Skills & Experience
5+ years driving profitable growth for DTC brands (spend- $50K/month).
- Mastery of growth marketing fundamentals and creative strategy.
- Proven track record of lowering CAC through ad creative.
- Expert-level VOC researcher across multiple platforms and formats.
- Skilled in AI prompting (ChatGPT, internal tools) to increase output & speed.
- Data-literate: familiar with NC-ROAS, MER, LTV, CAC, AOV, etc.
- Google Sheets power-user (can manage multi-brand dashboards). Excellent written and spoken English communication.
Bonus Skills
- Meta Blueprint, TikTok Ads, or Google Ads certification.
- Experience using Slack, Gmail, and collaborative workflows. Has built internal SOPs or creative testing playbooks.
