JOB OBJECTIVE(S)
Lead the strategic development, implementation, and management of banking platforms to ensure seamless, secure, and scalable transaction processing, payment integrations, and compliance with industry standards.
Drive operational excellence, innovation, and team performance to deliver best-in-class banking services for merchants, financial institutions, and end-users.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Oversee the end-to-end management of banking platforms, including transaction authorization, clearing flows, and fee calculations for merchants and partners.
- Develop and execute strategies for integrating banking platforms and ensuring relevant compliance.
- Lead platform updates, migrations, and new feature rollouts, ensuring minimal disruption and high scalability.
- Ensure compliance with PCI-DSS, PCI-PIN, and PCI-3DS standards and implement security protocols.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve edge cases and optimize customer experiences.
- Mentor and lead a team of platform specialists, fostering a culture of innovation, accountability, and continuous improvement.
- Establish and monitor performance metrics and alerting systems to maintain >99.9% platform uptime and rapid issue resolution.
- Document processes, integrations, and compliance procedures, ensuring comprehensive guides for internal use and regulatory adherence.
- Act as a liaison between the organization, and external stakeholders (e.g., banks, vendors) to align on implementation and operational goals. Drive automation of operational processes to enhance efficiency and reduce manual interventions.

- 100% compliance with regulatory frameworks
- 99% of platform incidents resolved within SLA timelines.
- Successful completion applicable regulatory audit and reports. Accurate and timely documentation of all platform processes and integrations.

JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Education: B.Sc./HND in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field; Master’s degree or MBA is a plus.
- Certifications: ITIL, PMP, or CISSP required; Oracle, PostgreSQL, MSSQL, or MySQL certifications are a plus. Experience: 10+ years in FinTech, banking platforms, or e-payment systems, with at least 5 years in a leadership role managing core banking, transaction switches or acquiring platforms.
