GIS Expert Job Description
The GIS Expert is responsible for collecting, analyzing, and interpreting spatial data to support decision-making in various sectors like urban planning, environmental management, and infrastructure development.
Key Responsibilities
· Analyze geospatial data using GIS software.
· Create and manage spatial databases, maps, and models.
· Interpret satellite imagery, drone data, and survey results.
· Support project teams with geospatial insights.
· Automate processes and create visualization dashboards.
· Provide training and technical support in GIS tools.
Required Skills
· Strong knowledge of GIS software (ArcGIS, QGIS, etc.).
· Proficiency in data analysis and spatial modeling.
· Experience with remote sensing and geospatial data acquisition.
· Ability to work with SQL, Python, or other relevant tools.
· Attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
