We’re hiring a TV show and Movie enthusiast to manage content research and scriptwriting for a YouTube recap channel. You must LOVE watching shows and movies, stay up to date with what’s trending, and be able to summarize stories clearly and fast. You’ll be responsible for tracking upcoming shows, writing recap scripts, and delivering 3 finished videos each week
You’ll decide what shows/movies to pick — but they MUST be trending titles that are likely to gather views.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Track and research popular, buzz-worthy shows and movies (especially U.S./U.K. )
- Stay updated on currently airing shows, upcoming seasons, and release dates
- Choose trending titles that have viral or high-engagement potential
- When a new season is approaching, write a short, detailed recap of the previous season
- As soon as a new season or a new show/movie with buzz drops, watch and write a short recap of it ASAP
- Submit your voiceover script to me — I’ll record the voiceover
- Use my voiceover audio to edit the recap video
- Deliver 3 edited recap videos per week (5–10 mins each)
- Recaps must cover everything important that happened in the show /movie— clearly, concisely, and still enjoyable to watch
- You’ll manage the entire pipeline — from research to scripting to editing — independently
You’re a Perfect Fit If You:
- Genuinely love TV shows/Movies and stay updated with Netflix, HBO, Hulu, Apple TV+, etc.
- Know how to write engaging summaries that make sense to viewers
- Can do basic editing — just syncing voiceover to clips/scenes
- Are resourceful with downloading/organizing show clips (I’ll show you tools I use)
- Know how to work fast without cutting corners
- Can commit to 3 video projects every week without chasing or reminders
- Are looking for a serious role, not part-time or side hustle
