Full Stack Developer Intern (3–6 Months, Unpaid – Potential Employment Based on Milestones)
? Remote (Lagos preferred) | Foodie – Early-Stage Food Social Platform
Foodie is a Nigerian-born social-first food platform where food meets fun. We’re building a space for Gen Z and millennials to post food moments, laugh over food memes, and connect with local cooks, foodies, and flavors. Think of it as a playful feed for food lovers—before we evolve into a marketplace.
We're in Phase 1: validating the community, building our tech foundation, and getting ready to scale. No products launched yet—but we’re laying the groundwork for something exciting.
? What You'll Work On
Build and maintain frontend + backend of our core web MVP
Set up user profiles, post systems, content feeds, and community features
Integrate tools for authentication, database, and cloud deployment
Optimize for performance, mobile responsiveness, and user engagement
Collaborate with the founder on product ideas, experiments, and fast iterations
Contribute to GitHub codebase, pull requests, and agile sprints
? Who You Are
Proficient in JavaScript and either React/Next.js, or any modern frontend framework
Comfortable with backend development using Node.js, Express, Python, or any backend stack
Basic experience working with APIs, Git, and cloud platforms like Firebase/Supabase
Willing to learn fast, iterate with uncertainty, and build under resource constraints
Passionate about social platforms, food culture, and creating cool user experiences
Based in Nigeria (Lagos preferred) or able to work West Africa-friendly hours
✅ Requirements
Availability: 10-15 hours per week, flexible schedule
Duration: 3–6 months depending on MVP development timeline
