Position Title: Finishing Supervisor

Role Overview
The Finishing Supervisor will play a crucial on-site role in overseeing the execution of the Mock-Up Room (MUR) and subsequent finishing works for an international branded hotel development. This person will coordinate all finishing trades, ensure build quality aligns with design and brand standards, and maintain daily oversight of execution activities. In the interim, the Finishing Supervisor will also support structural coordination duties alongside the main contractor and consultants.
Key Responsibilities
MUR Execution (First 60 Days)
- Lead daily coordination and supervision of all finishing trades for the standard guest room.
- Support the sequencing and installation of works, including screeding, ceilings, MEP first fix, tiling, joinery, ironmongery, and painting.
- Track progress and workmanship of blockwork and structural quality.
- Monitor deliveries, material handling, and identify risks/delays.
- Liaise with main contractor, consultants, and PM to resolve on-site conflicts.
- Prepare snag lists and lead quality assurance walkthroughs.
Fit-Out Phase Planning & Support
- Begin assembling a master finishing works schedule.
- Coordinate samples and mock-ups with interior designers and FF&E consultants.
- Provide input on subcontractor performance and readiness for broader scope.
- Support the project manager in sourcing finish-specific subcontractors.
- Prepare reporting tools and site checklists for handover into the rollout phase.
General Site Coordination
- Supervise workmanship and ensure alignment with project specifications and design intent.
- Track daily site activity logs and flag material/technical issues.
- Participate in site meetings and provide accurate updates to project management.
- Ensure health, safety, and compliance standards are met on-site.
Education:
HND/BSc in Architecture, Interior Design.
Relevant certifications (HSE, PMP, etc.) are a bonus.
Skills & Requirements
- Minimum: 5+ years in finishing supervision or site coordination, preferably in hotel or high-end residential finishing.
- Deep understanding of finishing trades and sequencing (tiling, joinery, MEP finishing, snagging).
- Good eye for detail, quality control, and design intent.
- Strong leadership and coordination skills with artisans and subcontractors.
- Comfortable with site documentation and daily reporting.
- Excellent communication with multidisciplinary teams.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: ₦500,000.00 - ₦650,000.00 per month
Experience:
- finishing supervision,site coordination in hotel finishing: 4 years (Required)
- site coordination in igh-end residential finishing: 5 years (Preferred)
