SWATX is seeking a dynamic Facilities Engineer to join our team in Nigeria. In this role, you will be responsible for managing and overseeing the maintenance, operations, and improvements of our facilities. You will work closely with operational teams to ensure that facilities are safe, efficient, and aligned with company standards. Key responsibilities include conducting regular inspections, coordinating maintenance schedules, and implementing facility-related projects that support overall business objectives.

Your expertise will ensure that all systems are functioning optimally and that safety regulations are adhered to. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively with various teams to enhance operational performance.

Requirements

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Facility Management, or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in facilities management, engineering, or a related role.
  • Technical Skills: Strong understanding of facility operations, maintenance management, and building systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing).
  • Project Management: Proven ability to manage projects from inception to completion, ensuring they meet scope, budget, and timeline.
  • Regulatory Knowledge: Familiarity with local and international safety regulations and compliance requirements.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills.
  • Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders.
  • Team Collaboration: Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team of professionals.
  • Certifications: Relevant certifications in facilities management or engineering (e.g., LEED, PMP) are a plus.
