Job Purpose:
We are seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented, and discreet Executive Assistant with a strong legal background (must be a certified lawyer) to provide high-level administrative, legal, and strategic support to the Managing Director. The ideal candidate will manage sensitive business matters, support legal compliance, handle document review, and serve as a liaison with internal and external stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct administrative and strategic support to the MD, including calendar management, travel arrangements, meeting coordination, and confidential correspondence.
- Screen and prioritize incoming communication (emails, letters, legal correspondence) for attention and appropriate action.
- Prepare briefing documents, reports, and presentations as required.
- Attend high-level meetings with or on behalf of the MD, and record minutes/action points.
- Manage complex scheduling and ensure the MD is well-prepared for engagements.
- Draft and vet internal policies, offer letters, employee agreements, and other corporate documents.
- Monitor company’s compliance with legal and regulatory obligations.
- Provide first-level legal advice on employment, contractual, and corporate matters.
- Coordinate with external counsel on pending matters and litigation updates.
- Serve as the first point of contact between the MD and internal/external stakeholders.
- Liaise with government agencies, clients, legal bodies, and consultants as required.
Key Requirements:
- Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) and B.L. from the Nigerian Law School (Must be a qualified lawyer).
- 2–4 years of post-NYSC work experience in an executive support or legal advisory role.
- Experience supporting C-level executives or law firm partners is a strong advantage.
- Strong legal drafting and document review skills.
- High level of professionalism, discretion, and integrity.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Strong organizational, planning, and time-management skills.
- Ability to handle pressure, multitask, and work with minimal supervision.
Preferred Attributes:
- Familiarity with corporate governance, compliance, and procurement processes.
- Strong business judgment and ability to interpret legal risk.

Pay: ₦200,000.00 - ₦250,000.00 per month
