We are recruiting for Wanzami Entertainment Nigeria Limited. The company needs support for its Streaming Platform.

Role Description

This is a part-time hybrid role for a Developer, located in Lagos with some work-from-home flexibility. The Developer will be responsible for supporting and maintaining web applications, implementing server-side logics, and integrating various web services. Daily tasks include coding, debugging, testing, and collaborating with the main developer team to ensure the alignment of technical solutions with business goals.

Qualifications

Java Programming (Core & Advanced)

OOP concepts

Exception handling, Collections, Streams, Lambdas

Spring Framework Ecosystem

Spring Boot – Main framework for rapid backend development

Spring MVC – Web layer (controllers, REST APIs)

Spring Data JPA – ORM and database access

Spring Security – Authentication, authorization

Spring Cloud – Microservices, service discovery, config, circuit breakers

Spring AOP – Logging, auditing, cross-cutting concerns

RESTful APIs

Building and consuming REST services

JSON, Postman, Swagger/OpenAPI

Database Technologies

Relational: MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle

NoSQL: MongoDB, Redis (optional)

Writing complex SQL queries, performance tuning
