Job Opening: Dental Therapist (UYO)
A reputable aesthetic clinic Uyo is hiring a Dental Therapist to join its team and deliver high-quality dental care and preventive treatments.
Gwarinpa, Abuja | ₦120,000-N130,000.00/month
Monday – Saturday | 8:30 AM – 6:00 PM
Key Responsibilities
Conduct dental examinations, diagnose conditions, and develop treatment plans.
Provide preventive dental treatments (cleaning, scaling, polishing, fluoride/sealant application).
Perform basic restorative procedures (fillings and temporary restorations).
Educate patients on oral hygiene and lifestyle habits to promote good oral health.
Maintain accurate and confidential patient records in line with clinic policies.
Ensure treatment areas and instruments meet infection prevention and control standards.
Participate in patient engagement programs and community oral health campaigns.
Provide assistance during dental procedures as needed.
Perform administrative tasks such as appointment scheduling, inventory checks, and documentation.
Carry out any other duties assigned by management.
✅ Requirements
✔ Valid Dental Therapist License
✔ 1–3 years post-graduate experience (clinic or hospital setting preferred)
✔ Strong patient care, communication, and organizational skills
✔ Ability to work independently and as part of a team
✔ Professional, ethical, and committed to continuous learning
