About the Role
We are looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented Data Analyst with 1–2 years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate is passionate about data, eager to learn, and comfortable working with large datasets to derive insights that support business decisions.
This role is perfect for recent graduates or early-career professionals looking to grow their analytical skills in a dynamic and supportive environment.
Location: Lagos Office, Nigeria
Key Responsibilities:
- Collect, clean, and organize data from various internal and external sources.
- Perform exploratory data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and outliers.
- Create dashboards and visual reports using tools like Power BI, Tableau, or Excel.
- Support data-driven decision-making by providing actionable insights to cross-functional teams.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand reporting needs and define key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Assist in automating recurring reports and data processes.
- Document data sources, analysis processes, and report definitions for future reference.
- Stay up to date with industry trends and emerging data analysis techniques.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Economics, or any related field.
- 1–2 years of relevant experience in data analysis, business intelligence, or a similar role.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, formulas, charts).
- Basic knowledge of SQL for data querying and manipulation.
- Experience with at least one data visualization tool (Power BI, Tableau, or Google Data Studio).
- Analytical mindset with strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication skills with the ability to present data in a clear and concise manner.
Nice to Have (Not Mandatory):
- Experience with Python or R for data analysis.
- Exposure to Google Analytics, CRM tools, or other business platforms.
- Internship or academic project experience involving data collection and analysis.
