Job Title : Credit and Collections Officer

RESPONSIBILITY:
- Review and assess credit applications and set credit limits based on company policies.
- Monitor customer accounts to ensure timely repayment.
- Contact clients with overdue accounts to arrange repayment plans.
- Investigate and resolve payment discrepancies or disputes.
- Prepare reports on account status, collections progress, and bad debts.
- Collaborate with sales and finance teams to manage credit risks effectively.
- Recommend legal action or debt recovery agencies where necessary.
- Ensure compliance with credit control policies and regulatory requirements.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Candidates should possess an SSCE/OND / HND / B.Sc qualification with 0 - 1 years work experience.
- Previous experience in tele-collections or Customer Service will be an added advantage
- Experience in credit control, debt recovery, or financial services.
- Strong negotiation and communication skills.
- Ability to analyze financial data and assess credit risk.
- Knowledge of accounting principles and debt collection laws/regulations.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting/ERP software.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
